I think thats kind of what it speaks to, just finding a way to win and hopefully we can keep that going. Here are the 3 Stars from Bruins-Blackhawks No. 3 Star: Marcus Kruger, Center, Blackhawks Kruger picked up a secondary assist on Klas Dahlbeck and Ben Smiths first-period goals. The fourth-line center finished with three blocked shots, a plus-2 rating and won 64 percent of his faceoffs in 12:54 of ice time. He also played 1:26 on a Chicago penalty kill that was a perfect 2-for-2. No. 2 Star: Ben Smith, Right Wing, Blackhawks The former Boston College star tallied two points (one goal, one assist). He earned a primary assist on Dahlbecks first career NHL goal in the first period with some quality work behind the net. Smith doubled Chicagos advantage to 2-0 with a little more than one minute remaining in the opening period by pouncing on a loose puck in front of Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask after a failed clearance attempt by Torey Krug. Smith also replaced Jonathan Toews at center on the Hawkstop line alongside wingers Marian Hossa and Brandon Saadwhen the captain left the game in the second period with an upper body injury. Smith finished with two shots on goal in 13:37 of ice time, including 1:37 on the penalty kill. No. 1 Star: Scott Darling, Goaltender, Blackhawks Darling earned his fifth win of the season with 32 saves on 34 shots (30-for-32 at even strength) for a .941 save percentage. source: http://nesn.com/2014/12/bruins-blackhawks-3-stars-chicagos-fourth-line-shines-offensively/

2 scorer left the game after Dennis Seidenberg came up behind him, hit him on the back of the shoulder and sent him face-first into the boards in the second period. Dangerous. Tight area. Strong guy, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said. He seemed all right. Well see how he is tomorrow, but it looks like hes going to be all right. Seidenberg said he was aiming for the shoulder and had no intent to injure Toews, who was the MVP of the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs. A two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time NHL champion, Toews has 11 goals and 12 assists in 28 games so far this season. It was unfortunate how he went into the boards, said Seidenberg, who waited in the hallway outside the Blackhawks dressing room after the game to shake hands with alternate captain Patrick Sharp. I try to be clean, Seidenberg told reporters. I would never want to hurt anyone. Ben Smith assisted on the Blackhawks first goal and scored their second as they opened a 3-0 lead before Boston rallied. Scott Darling made 32 saves for the Blackhawks, who have won 11 of their last 12 games and lost just twice in the past month. Tuukka Rask stopped 18 shots for Boston. source: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/dec/11/blackhawks-lose-toews-beat-bruins-3-2/?utm_source=RSS_Feed&utm_medium=RSS

ET. The Blackhawks are rolling as they enter the game on a seven-game win streak. Chicago hasn’t exactly been feasting on lesser-thans during the streak either. Chicago has wins against Montreal, Nashville, St. Louis, Anaheim, and Los Angeles in that time, and now the team faces a Bruins squad coming off a 5-2 win against Arizona on Saturday. Even counting Saturday’s victory, however, Boston has lost five of the past seven games. The team is looking to get things right and may have David Krejci back against Chicago. With Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane , and Marian Hossa to wrangle as well as recently returned Patrick Sharp , at least the Bruins have Tuukka Rask . Elsewhere, the Columbus Blue Jackets take their four-game winning streak into Washington to face Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals at 7 p.m. Columbus has gotten great play from Sergei Bobrovsky and has a host of different forwards scoring goals. source: http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2014/12/11/7375175/2014-nhl-schedule-blackhawks-bruins-tv-schedule

Chicago is 7-1-0 in its last eight road tilts. * Boston defeated Arizona, 5-2, at Gila River Arena last Saturday, snapping its three-game losing streak in the process. The Bruins are 7-2-0 when getting two or more days off between games this season (8-10-1 in all other contests). * Tonight marks the first of two meetings between these clubs in 2014-15. Dating to the beginning of 2010-11, the Bs are 3-0-1 in their last four regular-season games against the Blackhawks. * Duncan Keith lit the lamp on Tuesday night, giving him nine points (3g, 6a) in the last 11 games, and earning first-star honors in the win. Keith has five points (2g, 3a) in his last five skates against the Bruins. * Including two goals against the Coyotes last Saturday, Brad Marchand has recorded back-to-back multi-point games for the first time in 2014-15. Marchand, who has two markers and two assists in four career skates against the Bruins, has never scored two or more points in three straight games during his time in the NHL. * Chicago has a plus-29 goal differential in 2014-15 best of any NHL club. Bostons goal differential is minus-2 this season (18th in the league). source: http://wgntv.com/2014/12/11/blackhawks-game-notes-for-thursday-boston/
