Hopefully hes not out long. The goaltender remained down for a lengthy period of time before testing out his leg with trainer Ray Barile. After several minutes and a long discussion with Barile, Elliott reluctantly limped down the tunnel to the Blues locker room. Jake Allen took over in goal. Its real tough, said defenseman Barret Jackman. He will get evaluated tomorrow and we will see how bad it is. Hes been playing unbelievable for us. Jake did a good job coming in, too. He wanted to stay. I dont know what was said between him and Ray, but probably precautionary, him coming out. Before exiting the game, Elliott stopped all 16 shots he faced. Should Elliott be out for any length of time, the Blues may be forced to maneuver their roster a bit. source: http://www.kmov.com/sports/Elliott-exits-Tuesdays-game-with-a-lower-body-injury-283925501.html
